NINA & THE MYSTERY OF THE SECRET ROOM

“Nina” is the first musical soundtrack that she has composed for a full-length feature film. It is currently in post-production and is expected to be released later in 2009.

Disney HallBettie’s Orchestral Arrangement of “Amazing Grace” with Pipe Band Performed at Disney Hall.

Bettie was commissioned by the Cabar Feidh Pipe Band to create a new arrangement of the old classic, “Amazing Grace”, for full symphony orchestra and pipe band.

Bettie’s “Amazing Grace” has now been performed by the California Philharmonic Orchestra, Victor Vener conducting, at the Disney Hall in Los Angeles, the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, and at the Arboretum in Arcadia, California.

 







2009 Music Preparation Projects Continue to Flourish

In 2009, Bettie’s worked on many recording and live performance projects, helping to prepare the conductor scores and the parts for the players, and sometimes orchestrating as well.

These projects include Dave Matthews Band’s album “Big Whiskey & the Groo Grux King”, Death Cab For Cutie with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, Faith Hill with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Ray LaMontagne with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. In addition, Bettie’s worked on projects for Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Tommy Torres, Uncle Kracker, Maroon 5, Montgomery Gentry, Radiohead, Takako Matsu, The Fray, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and the “Spider Man” workshop in New York City.
